SpiritDAO has a built-in guided tour that walks you through every section of the app in approximately 2 minutes. It is the fastest way to understand the full platform at a glance.

How to Start the Guided Tour

From the Knowledge Base

1. Go to Knowledge Base from the home screen
2. At the top of the page, find the pinned card: "Take a guided tour" (marked with a 🧭 compass icon)
3. Click it, and the tour starts immediately

From the Home Screen

The tour button may also be accessible from your home screen or settings depending on your version of the app.

What the Tour Covers

The guided tour walks through every major section of the app in order:

1. Welcome: The home screen overview and navigation
2. Identity: Your profile, wallet address, Tenure standing, accreditations, pod credentials, and token balances
3. Artifacts: The community marketplace; pay with $SYSTEM, or burn $SELF to pay
4. Sensemaker: The AI assistant for DAO support and Temporal Naturalism inquiry
5. Chat: Real-time messaging and video chat with pod members
6. Forum: Community discussions, proposal threads, and pod-specific boards
7. Pods: Working groups with their own governance, treasury, events, and bounties
8. Events: Community calendar with token-gated registration and attendance credentials
9. Governance: On-chain proposals, voting, and DAO-wide decisions
10. Bounties: Open tasks with crypto rewards, escrow payments, and submission review

Tips for New Members

First 24 Hours

1. ✅ Complete your Identity profile (first name, bio, and interests)
2. ✅ Browse the Pods page and find one that matches your interests
3. ✅ Watch the Getting Started video in the Knowledge Base
4. ✅ Attend a Weekly Governance Call (check Events calendar)

First Week

1. ✅ Apply for pod membership and get approved
2. ✅ Post in the Forum to introduce yourself
3. ✅ Explore open Bounties for ways to contribute
4. ✅ Mint your Advocate to join DAO-wide governance (voting is active immediately)
5. ✅ Try Sensemaker: ask it about Temporal Naturalism or anything about the platform

Understanding the Community

• SpiritDAO is federated infrastructure for self-sovereign communities, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It is open to new communities and members: you can join a community or organize your own
• It is organized around Temporal Naturalism and the Eight Dignities, which members advance by participating across the ecosystem
• Governance happens on-chain, so your votes are permanent and public
• Participation builds a verifiable record of your community contribution
• Pods are the core organizing unit, where everything meaningful happens
