Three ways to bring someone in

1. Email invitation — send a personal invite from the app; they get a link that opens the door for them.
2. Pod invite link — pod leaders create a shareable link that makes accepters members of the pod automatically.
3. Your referral code — the classic: share your 6-character code from your Identity page, and they enter it at sign-up (there's a "Have a referral code?" option on the entry screen).

All three credit you (or the link's creator) as the referrer. Nobody needs a code or invitation to join SpiritDAO — the entry screen's main Enter SpiritDAO button works for everyone — but invitations make arriving smoother and connect newcomers to the person and community who welcomed them.

Inviting by email

1. Go to Identity (home screen → Identity card).
2. Scroll to Invite Friends.
3. Enter one or more email addresses — separate several with commas or new lines.
4. Optionally pick one of your pods, so the invitation reads "…from [your pod]."
5. Click Send invites.

Each person receives an email — "[Your name] is inviting you to join SpiritDAO" — with a personal Get started link. When they click it, sign-up opens with your referral already applied; there's no code for them to type.

Things to know:

• The email text is fixed — your name and pod are filled in, but the message itself can't be edited (this keeps invitations trustworthy and consistent).
• There's a limit of about 20 invitations per member per day.
• People who are already members, or who were invited in the last 30 days, are skipped automatically — the results list tells you who and why.

Pod invite links (for pod leaders)

Leaders can create links that grant pod membership on acceptance:

1. Open your pod's Manage page → Members tab → Invite Links section.
2. Choose an expiration (7/30/90 days or never) and a use limit (or unlimited), then click Create invite link.
3. Copy the link and share it anywhere — email, chat, social.
4. Revoke a link at any time; it stops working immediately.

When someone accepts:

• They become a pod member right away. Chat, forum, events, surveys, and the knowledge base unlock the moment they arrive. New visitors go through normal sign-up first; existing members just get added.
• Eligibility still applies. If the pod's member role has requirements (for example, a community-token minimum), the link checks them — someone who doesn't qualify is told why. A link is an invitation, not an exemption.
• The on-chain role comes in a second step. Each acceptance is queued, and leaders see a notice in the Invite Links section — "N new members awaiting on-chain role mint." One click on Mint all (gasless) issues every queued role token in a single free transaction. Members can use all the everyday pod features before this step; the on-chain token matters for treasury-level features.
• Links grant member roles only — leadership always goes through explicit approval.

A good habit for leaders with an active link: check the Invite Links section every day or two and mint the queue.
